A group of OUSD parents has launched the Immigrant Family Defense Fund (IFDF) to support families enrolled in Oakland public schools that are facing the threat of deportation.
The IFDF helps at-risk parents and children access qualified legal representation and helps those held in immigration detention get released on bond so they can stay together throughout their court proceedings.
