Meet the new principal, Caroline Guggino

Ms. Guggino is excited to become a part of the Chabot community. With a deep commitment to education and student development, Ms. Guggino has built a robust career in various educational roles over the past two decades.

Starting as an early childhood educator, she spent 13 years fostering the growth and development of young learners. Driven by a desire for new challenges and further professional growth, Ms. Guggino pursued and obtained a second master’s degree in school counseling.

After relocating to California, she joined San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD), where she taught TK for five years. Her dedication and leadership skills led her to a principal position for a year, which set the stage for subsequent leadership roles.

Ms. Guggino then transitioned to OUSD as an assistant principal at Alliance Academy, followed by a tenure at Edna Brewer Middle School. 

At Edna Brewer, she served as an assistant principal for three years before stepping into the role of principal, a position she held for the past two years.

Throughout her career, Ms Guggino has been dedicated to creating a nurturing and effective learning environment, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed. Ms. Guggino’s extensive experience in teaching, school counseling, and administration underscores her commitment to educational excellence and student achievement.

She is excited to continue to lead the Chabot Elementary Bobcats in their pursuit of excellence!
