Please drop off food donations and letters as part of The Community Engagement Committee’s all-ages service activity at Chabot! This is a way to show love from the Chabot community during the week of Valentine’s Day.
During the week of February 8 (Monday-Thursday) donation boxes and coolers will be placed outside the front gates of Chabot. Please drop off your fresh (produce, dairy, prepared meals, (no raw meat)) and non-perishable (pantry staples, bottled water) donations during the hours of 2 – 4 pm Monday – Thursday (2/8 -2/11) There will be designated boxes and coolers for all items. Parent volunteers will collect at the end of the day and distribute to one or more of the Town Fridges in Oakland.
There will also be a box to include Valentine’s cards (to brighten someone’s day and spread the love) that will be distributed around all the Fridge sites. More information on Town Fridge, and where refrigerators are located, can be found on Instagram at @townfridge and here.
