Enrichment Programs

PTA-Funded Programs That Enrich the Curriculum and Education of Chabot Students Without the PTA, the students of Chabot elementary would not have art, music, library, Spanish, technology or science as part of their school day. The Chabot PTA raises money each year to fund a number of programs that OUSD is unable to provide. Without parent volunteers, the PTA cannot function. To learn more about any of these programs, click on the links below. Each of the programs has a committee that helps steer the program. Please consider joining one of these committees. There are roles large and small to be filled and your time and support will continue to make these programs possible.

	Programs for first and second graders and for third through fifth graders explore different ways of thinking about and creating art.

	From chorus to percussion to movement to instrumental music, children of every age make music at Chabot.

	Games, art, touch typing, web page building - Chabot kids learn fun and important computer skills.

	The garden program helps children of all ages learn about nature in a way coordinated with their classroom studies.

	All classes visit Chabot's wonderful library each week.


	The Spanish Committee promotes Spanish language at Chabot.
