Chabot’s Computer Program provides computer instruction to the students and tech support and technology planning for the school.

Computer Specialist Debbie Hughes provides weekly classroom instruction in basic computer skills. Read about the Chabot Computer curriculum.

The Computer Committee also works with Chabot’s teachers and administration to design and implement a computer literacy curriculum for the school, to provide professional development opportunities to staff and faculty, and to insure effective technology planning for the school.

The Computer Committee also acts as Chabot’s IT group, providing equipment and tech support for the classrooms and helping to develop and maintain the school computer network. In addition, the Computer Committee identifies potential funding opportunities to expand the current offerings.

Computer committee work parties are scheduled the first Wednesday of each month, 7 p.m., place to be arranged by project. Contact Lisa Howland for specific location.
