12/9/2009 —Some of you may have noticed that the K-2 building isn't ready for occupancy just yet. Work continues apace, but the details are many and it looks like early spring is our next target date to hit for a move-in schedule. Most of the current work takes place inside the building these days: mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough-ins, drywall, insulation and plaster etc., so you wont see a beehive of activity on the lower yard.

The main building and library remain chilly as a mechanical part for the new boiler had to be reconfigured in Pennsylvania. We should have heat in those buildings by the new year. Installation of the ramps between the main building and library has begun with grading of the surrounding area and trench work and forms building for a new retaining wall. Also on tap in the next few weeks is the installation of stage curtains and lights in the multi-purpose building.
